Breathe

Every morning and every night before going to bed. Take 5 minutes and focus on your breathe. Be thankful for the day. The past is gone. Tomorrow is unknown. Today is the present.

What I learned so far about meditation

It’s a thing that allows humans from taking break from life.

Life is loud, severe aggressive stimulation of the senses.

Starting to mediate is like lowering the volume on the TV (your thoughts; emotions) in your mind.

Intermediate meditation is like turning the TV off (Nothingness).

Advance is walking away from the space of the TV and going into another room (sensation of escaping your body).

Mediation is helping to find the middle.

The love of a mother for her child is mother love and belongs to no particular religion.

Random thought

We all think differently based on our personal experiences. We do what we think is on our best interested. What we think is in our best interest may not always be in the best interest of others.

Don’t become a game piece in someone else’s game. Follow the rules. Stick to your own game plan.

Walk away

Don’t waste your time on things you cannot change.

If it does not make you happy.

If your questioning yourself.

Efforts to add value to your life is not met with support, it’s time to take a different path.

You don’t need negativity in your life.

Know when to walk away from toxic people.

Gift them with your absence.

Know when to walk away from hopeless situations.

Reminder; you can start over at anytime.

Walk away from toxic things in your life for a better overall well being.

Crossroads

Toxicity can influence your physical, mental, emotional health, and many more aspects of your life.

Give your mind a break and Meditate when you wake up and when your ready to go to sleep.

An over active mind constantly reading into everything and anything is overwhelming. Meditation helps silence the noise which improves overall health.

My career is in civil service, particular in legalities, an toxicity comes with the territory. In choosing a path to do a public good; came with toxins to my body, from having to by in constant alert on watching out for yourself in strategic office politics, to getting yelled at from the frustrated public, to the inconsistencies with procedures, system issues, complex tasks, for little pay. Originally the incentives where I get exposure into an aspect of the legal world. Now, I am at a crossroads on my career path, do I want to continue on this path?

My friends presently are stuck in watching News Media to a point where they are no longer the people I once would be proud to associate myself with, but now to a point where I questioning them as people. They speak in terms instead of working to find value in life but use non-welcoming  offensive political divisiveness language. I have had these friendship well over 20 years. I can understand people change over time and we are suppose to. Now, did we change so much to a point where we may need to continue our life in different paths?

My family at times I feel are helpless. I have been established financially, I focused on my career and education, I made choices to make progress in my life. My siblings have made there choices and now are noticing certain things they wish they had done differently. As much as I want to help, I am helping by staying out of their life choices in support. The crossroads, constantly being placed in a position where I have to say “no.”

Criticism

In human relations criticism is a disservice.

Every person has the need to feel important. Sincere compliments makes a person feel important.
